A Single Source of Truth for a Multi-Chain Wallet

The Challenge

When you’re building and adding new features at a fast pace, it's easy for small design inconsistencies to appear. Over time, different buttons, icons, or layouts can create a fragmented experience for users and slow down development. The core challenge was to move away from a collection of separate designs and establish one organized system that everyone on the team could use to build, innovate, and grow the app with confidence.

The Solution

We decided together that the best approach was to build a complete application framework in Figma. This wasn't just about redesigning screens; it was about creating a shared library of reusable, living components. We developed a comprehensive system of buttons, text styles, colors, and modules that reflected Bifrost's core visual identity. By using Figma’s powerful component features, we built a system where any update to a master element would instantly apply across the entire application design. This gave the Bifrost team a flexible and powerful toolkit to work from.

Result and Thoughts

The result is a clean, scalable UI system that serves the Bifrost team well. It saves them a great deal of time and energy when developing new features, as they now have a strict and clear framework to guide them. This project was a rewarding experience for everyone involved. It was a pleasure to work so closely with the Tovo Labs team on a mobile application and explore what's possible within Figma. We’re proud of the work we did together and the strong, simple system that came from our collaboration.
